NIGHT TO SHINE
We are so excited to host Night to Shine, sponsored by The Tim Tebow Foundation on Friday, February 7, 2025! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 13 and older. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment and reminded of God’s love for them!
Say Yes to the Dress
On January 16th, from 4pm-6pm we will be hosting a “Say Yes to the Dress” experience at Timber Creek Church- Lufkin Campus in the Chapel. Our community has donated all of the dresses! The best part, it’s FREE! So come and try on dresses and hopefully say ‘Yes’ to one!
Guest Prep
Starting at 5pm we offer all ladies simple updos and makeup. All gentlemen can get their shoes shined and their hair styled.
Time to Shine
Upon our honored guests arrival, they will meet their buddy for the night and they’ll be announced by name as they walk the Red Carpet and are celebrated by our team.
Their buddy will be with them all night ensuring they are comfortable and having a memorable night.
Throughout the evening, we will have several activities available. In the main hall, we will have dancing and a buffet, with options for all dietary restrictions.
We will end the night in the main hall to crown all of our guests King/Queen. On their way out they will receive a guest bag and a photo frame.
Once they enter the building they will receive a corsage/boutonnière and have their picture taken at the Photo Booth to be used for their take-home photo frame at the end of the night.
Our activity room is set up for karaoke, outside we have horse and carriage rides or limo rides, and our sensory room is a calming space for our guests if they need to take some time away to decompress with trained personnel.
Respite Room
The evening is for our guests, but we want to take care of all of the caretakers, too. Our respite room is equipped for you to relax while your loved one enjoys the night. We have a room dedicated to you with games, food, and a massage therapist so you can enjoy the night.
