Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions: Why Children Should Be Your Church’s #1 Priority

Children today are exposed to a barrage of worldly ideas that are hostile to the biblical worldview. Yet churches often focus their ministries on teens and adults—failing to capitalize on the most formative years of a child’s moral development. Researcher George Barna points out the critical importance of spiritually training young people, as most people who embrace Jesus Christ as their Savior do so before their teenage years.

Barna urges churches to come alongside parents, creating a partnership to help teach children biblical precepts—precepts that will strengthen our childrens understanding of Christ and transform them into spiritual champions!

One Day to Feed the World is an opportunity for everyone at Timber Creek Church to partner with Convoy of Hope to help feed children around the world.

We’re inviting each person to consider giving one day of their annual income—simply divide your annual income by 365 to find your “one day.” Through your generosity, your one day can help feed a child for an entire year.

Together, we have the opportunity to make a lasting difference and help feed the world—one child at a time.
